Recording privacy
Processing requires your explicit choice for each upload. Portfolio saving is optional and separate. Teacher sharing requires its own later consent.
What is sent for recognition and feedback?
Recognition receives the recording you explicitly upload. Feedback uses your confirmed or corrected text, lesson instructions and examples, feedback rules, and which help you used. Saving a portfolio recording and sharing with a teacher require separate choices.
Unsaved clips last at most 24 hours; explicitly saved portfolio clips last up to 30 days. You can choose shorter limits. The private recording proxy checks current access on every request and after storage reads; no public or pre-signed playback URL is issued.
Deleting removes active access and private text immediately after the server commits. The retention worker removes stored bytes; the active-data cleanup target is within 30 days. These are maximums, not a reason to retain an expired clip.
Real provider retention and backup disposal are not yet verified for launch. Already downloaded copies cannot be recalled. Check a prepared deletion receipt.
